From Heraklion airport to Villa Alexandra

> At the airport you take the "national road" in the direction of
Agios Nicolaos, i.e. to the left.
> Follow this main road for about 60 km. in the direction of
Agios Nicolaos.
> Just outside of Agios Nicolaos you will see the first set of traffic lights.
From here, follow the signs for Ierapetra / Sitia. At the first lights this is to
the right, at the second intersection (about 2km farther) it is a slight bend to
the right, you pass through a short tunnel under the intersection.
> This is a big new road, follow it in the direction or Ierapetra. After 9km you reach Istro, here the road is older, keep following it for another 10km when you will reach the village of Pachia Ammos which is right on the shore. Exiting this village you are driving by the beach. Take the road to the right here, following the signs to Ierapetra. Do not follow Sitia here, that is the road straight on.
> You are now crossing the island to the southern coast. After following the road to Ierapetra for 14km. you arrive at Ierapetra itself. Turn left at the first traffic lights, the signs now indicate Sitia again in this direction.
> This road leads out of Ierapetra, following the coast to the east. After about 20km there is a new stretch of road, a little more inland. Follow this road for another 6km and turn right following the signs for Goudouras. Immediately after turn left following the signs to Goudouras and Kalo Nero.
>After about 1,2 km you will see the Lagada Resort on the left hand side of the road. The reception is the far right door facing the parking area, this is also the reception for Villa Alexandra where you can collect the keys.
> About 600 m. beyond the Lagada Resort the road bends sharply to the left and starts to climb. About 200 meters after this bend there are three houses on the left side of the road. The third of these is Villa Alexandra.
